My thoughts on Man’s Purpose in this Life and what gives life meaning

Man’s entire history has been one of delusion, and more importantly of self – delusion but the days ahead will give a whole new meaning to the word delusion. I am very confident that the majority will either not be interested or not believe anything I write on this blog, so this blog and the articles on my website are directed to the remnant minority, the few that still retain their God given faculty of logic and reason. The few that have not been dumbed down through so–called ‘education’, or hypnotized through ‘mass media’, TV in particular, or have not had their brains lobotomized through illegal stimulants or legal prescription drugs. This information is directed to the small minority that still retains its powers of reason to conclude that there is something wrong with this world, and do not fall for the lies of their leaders who claim they are constantly working to set the world right but only manage to make it worse and worse.

The search for truth begins by questioning commonly accepted paradigms, and by questioning all authority, beginning with the authority of God. Had God not wanted us to question him, he would have made us robots that would follow his every command unquestioningly. True authority is not fearful of being questioned because it will stand and not fall if indeed it is true. False authority on the other hand needs to be enforced. Thus we now have ‘Law Enforcement’ because in most cases now, the laws are not Just, neither are those who enforce them.

People who do not question authority whether it be religious, political or even familial authority are prone to being sold a bill of goods that will keep them mentally, financially, and spiritually enslaved for their whole lives. False authority is based on deception that begins rather early in life with one’s parents, continuing in school and church, accelerating in institutions of higher education that may more appropriately be identified as institutions of higher indoctrination and coming full circle as the next generation is lead down the same path followed by previous generations.

In the Bible we are constantly warned to understand the times we live in, but more importantly to redeem the time, which means to consider the time we have been given in this life as valuable and to make the best use of it; to not waste it on mindless entertainment or sports or other unprofitable activities. Our first and foremost purpose in life is to understand our origins, to understand that we have a Maker, and more importantly to understand the purpose for which we have been created. Out time here has been given to us solely for the purpose of knowing and understanding our Maker, our Creator, to understand and know who and what He is really like. Most people say that God is a mystery, which is true, but God our Maker has revealed Himself to man, He has made Himself known to us. The whole Bible is the book of God which reveals God to us, reveals to us His very nature so that He no longer remains a mystery.

The very word REVELATION is a translation of the Greek word Apokálupsis from which the English word Apocalypse has been transliterated. The word ‘Apocalypse’ conjures up images of nuclear annihilation, of scorched, blackened Earth and Mad Max landscapes, but in a biblical context the definition of the Greek word is somewhat different. The word Apocalypse or Revelation literally means to ‘Take the lid off’, as for example from a pot to reveal that which lies within. The lid has been lifted, the cover removed to reveal Jehovah, the Great I AM, the Creator of all things to us. This revelation began in the Garden of Eden and culminated on the Cross at Calvary where Jesus Christ, who is God in the flesh, had His own heart ripped open for us to see the immeasurable love that He has for us that not even death was able to destroy.

Jeremiah 9:23 Thus saith the Lord, Let not the wise man glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his might, let not the rich man glory in his riches: 24 But let him that glorieth glory in this, that he understandeth and knoweth me, that I am the Lord which exercise lovingkindness, judgment, and righteousness, in the earth: for in these things I delight, saith the Lord.

As the above scripture in the book of the prophet Jeremiah tells us it is God Himself who admonishes us to Understand and to Know Him. If he had not given us the knowledge of Himself, if He had not revealed Himself to us, how could we possibly know Him?

1 John 5:20 And we know that the Son of God is come, and hath given us an understanding, that we may know him that is true, and we are in him that is true, even in his Son Jesus Christ. This is the true God, and eternal life.

Jesus (God in the flesh) came to bring us the final revelation of God our Creator, to complete our understanding of Himself. The Creator Himself became a man, and through His actions and His words gave us the information about Himself, which can be summed up in one word: LOVE. He taught us that God is Love, not through mere words but through His actions, by laying down His life for us. Everyone is running around looking for love; there are more ads on the internet for dating sites than for anything else. We have a spiritual need for love, for true love, which can only come from Him who is true of heart. Man’s love is usually physical lust which can never be satisfied.  What people call 'falling in love' is generally a physical attraction that wears out very quickly, which is why so many relationships fall apart sooner or later. The deep spiritual hunger for love that we all have can only be satisfied by Jesus Christ. You don’t have to become perfect for Him to love you; He already loved you as you are and He proved it by giving His life to save us from our sinful ways, and from the consequence of sin, which is death. It is only His love that can transform you and make you into a New Person; a person of love, a person of peace, and a person of joy. Try it, He will not disappoint you! What have you got to lose except your loneliness, your emptiness, and the meaningless pursuits you spend your days on that can never bring you true joy and happiness?

John 3:16 (KJV) For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

Yes God so loved the world…as the world was, and is, as you were, and are. He did not require you to become perfect so that He could love you; no, He loved you as you are, and now offers you the opportunity to become perfect through His love! His love alone can fill the emptiness, the shallowness, and the gaping hole of loneliness in every human heart.

Matthew 11:28 Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. 29 Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. 30 For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.

Accept Him or deny Him – the choice is yours to make. One choice leads to Life and Peace, the other one – well we all know where the other one leads since we have all walked down that road of loneliness and despair – isn’t it time to get off this road?

Please share with one and all, and help spread the Word of Truth.

  1. Dear Paul:

I am one of your faithful followers, a remnant to live for God's purposes. I enjoy reading your articles. I truly believe in what you say and what you write. I marvel at your knowledge of the Bible and the economics. I can only learn from you. Listening to the worldly commentators, e.g, Peter Schiff, Gerald Celente and etc. can't help me to find out the reasoning of all the happenings.

Our God is the God of the universe. He destines the whole world, my life and your life. By reading the Bible and following the Holy Spirit daily can lead me onto a higher ground day by day and year by year until I see him or He returns.

Jesus has his own followers, no matter how small it is.

Truth remains truth forever. His Word will never pass away.

I was a kind disappointed when there was no writing of yours in the past few months. I hope I can hear more interviews you will have with other media.

I will pass your website to many of my friends, brothers and sisters in Christ.

May God bless us for His glory, kingdom and power.

    Sincerely yours,
    Iris
