Mass animal die-offs continue: 500 Nearly Dead Sea Lion Pups Washed Ashore In California - YouTube

I had hoped that this heartbreaking story of the 500 nearly dead sea lions that washed ashore in California was going to take a turn for the better; however, that is not the case. We learn today from ENENews that things have actually taken a turn for the worse and that there "is no explanation for what we're seeing" according to experts. A comment on the ENENews story linked above from Anne, a Beforeitsnews reader, shares these are NOT isolated events but events that are now happening every day and should give every one of us a cause for great concern. That comment is below the video.

CBS Los Angeles: “Dead sea lions everywhere” — Rescuer: I’ve never seen anything like this… we never would have imagined the numbers — Expert: No oceanographic explanation for what we’re seeing

Two 'Unusual Mortality Events' at the same time, one on each US coast.

"An unusual mortality event (UME) is defined under the Marine Mammal Protection Act as:

"a stranding that is unexpected; involves a significant die-off of any marine mammal population; and demands immediate response."

We're next.

You can read the entire original report with video from CBS Los Angeles here.

This video came out days ago on March 19th, 2013 and gives us an overview of the situation then, prior to this report today from CBS Los Angeles. See Anne's comment below.

The picture is of the many 'starving survivors' that are filling up rescue centers.
