Incomplete infrastructure chokes India's growth | Video | Reuters.com

Blogman's Notes: What this brief Reuters report leaves out is the fact that corruption is so rampant and so systemic in India that it is near impossible to get even the most basic of public works projects completed on time, let alone on budget. More of the money allotted for projects goes to corrupt politicians than to the work itself. Though the Western media desperately keep trying to lipstick on the Indian pig, the fact is that this is one nation that will always wallow in the mire. Forget about India ever becoming even a China let alone a Germany or the US.
