Weekly News Update / Jan. 21, 2011

We have been given unmistakable signs that would reveal to those who have the eyes to see, and ears to hear, that the end of the world is at hand. The majority of the world will continue leading their lives in the hypnotic trance that prevents them from understanding these signs; therefore this information is for the small remnant that are not deceived; the small remnant who are ‘watching and praying’, the small remnant who will not be overtaken as a thief in the night by the soon coming ‘End of the World’, and soon coming ‘Day of The Lord’.

The prophetic signs of the ‘End of the World’ may be divided into the following categories (Please review my series of articles titled ‘Is this the End of the World’ for the reasons why these categories are relevant and important. News reports that fit these categories have been linked and prophetic Biblical references have been provided to prove that these events are pointing to an imminent fulfillment of all ‘End of the World’ prophecies recorded in the pages of The Bible.

§  ECONOMY The end of the world as we know it must begin with a complete collapse of the Global economy. The following stories continue to confirm that that the pace of this collapse is accelerating in 2011. In my estimation, the clearest signal that the end is near will be the collapse of the US dollar, which will be signalled by countries scrambling to get rid of dollars and buy gold, or begin to do transactions between themselves in their own currencies. However the transition to a new reserve currency, as is being suggested by world leaders, prominently the Chinese, will not be an easy one, it will crush many of the third world countries through inflation, and decimate the middle class in developed, and developing countries. The elite rich, however, will end up richer than ever before.  China's Hu Jintao: Currency system is 'product of past' / BBC News: 17 January 2011 Last updated at 04:51 ET Chinese President Hu Jintao has said the international currency system dominated by the US dollar is a "product of the past"…. From a prophetic viewpoint the collapse of the global economy will be the trigger that signals the beginning of the end of the world as we know it. In my estimation it will be the US dollar’s death knell as the world’s reserve currency that will be the clearest signal of all that the time of tribulation and sorrows has come upon this world. Such talk as heard from Chinese officials and leaders of other nations questioning the position of the US dollar on the world economic stage would have been unthinkable even 5 years ago.   India, Iran mull over gold-for-oil for now / The Economic Times 8 Jan, 2011, 01.36AM IST, Dheeraj Tiwari & Rajeev Jayaswal, ET Bureau / NEW DELHI: India is determined to ensure steady crude oil supplies from Iran and is even considering settling payments with gold in the short term before the two countries agree on a mutually accepted currency and a bank to clear the transactions. "We have written a letter to NIOC (National Iranian Oil Company) asking it to suggest a bank where US sanctions are not applicable," a government official involved in the matter said requesting anonymity. All US dollar transactions must be cleared through New York, so anytime the US wants to impose ‘Sanctions’, as it has upon Iran, it simply stops processing US dollar transactions from the banks of these countries. By not using US dollars, nations can continue to do business with each other without US interference. The above story is an example of how nations are beginning to bypass the US dollar, which would have been unthinkable even 5 years ago. A similar News item, China, Russia quit dollar, came out recently in which it was reported that Russia and China had made a bilateral agreement to trade in each other’s currencies, once again bypassing the dollar. Today, the great failings of engineered interdependency are painfully apparent….” As noted by the author of this excellent article, the economies of the world are irrevocably tied to one another, this is a relatively new phenomenon that can be traced back to the 1970s when the European Common Market, and other Free Trade agreements were carved out that introduced the word ‘Globalism’ and the term ‘Global Village’ to the world. It is the interconnectedness of the world’s economies that has made it possible for the economy of every nation on Earth to fail simultaneously. Like dominoes, nations have begun to fall, and like rats felling a sinking ship, we will soon see a mad scramble by nations to try and save themselves by dumping their dollar reserves but it will be a case of too little, too late. A New Antichrist, mark of the beast economy will eventually emerge from the ashes of the present system but not before unprecedented havoc has been wreaked upon the world. The inflation that will result from the Global Economic Crash will cause prices of essential commodities to skyrocket. Revelation 13:16 And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: 17 And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. / The well orchestrated interlinking of the economies of all nations through trade agreements and the rapidly unfolding Global Economic Crisis will lead to the fulfillment of the ‘mark of the beast’ prophecy.

§  Famine / Food Shortages New Concerns Of Global Food Price Shock – Fox News Video Price Shocks, Food Shortages And Global Economic Riots In 2011?  / Excellent article on The American Dream website article / People need to wake up - 2011 has just begun and yet we are already seeing significant price shocks and serious food shortages in many areas of the globe.  In fact, violent economic riots are now being reported in Algeria, in Chile and in Mozambique.  Food shortages and price increases are also causing political unrest in other nations such as India, Bangladesh and Indonesia.  This is a very serious situation, and if the major food producing nations of the world do not have another record harvest this year there is very likely going to be an incredibly serious global food crunch. Collateral damage of the globalization / multinationalization of agriculture in 3rd world countries? The death of the family farm is a worldwide tragedy that is rarely discussed or reported on by MSM. In a Feb. 2010 blog entry titled Farms without Farmers & other WMDs, I compared the death of the family farm is comparable to the use of WMDs on an agrarian population. It would appear that this problem, far from being resolved, will only escalate in the future. In previous years, it was only the alternative media that was forecasting a developing Food crisis / catastrophe. As the above reports prove, this story, along with the weather, has now taken centre stage in world media reports. The situation is much more serious than it was in 2008. Actually in every respect the world situation is much more dire than it was in 2008. At best I would estimate that we have until the end of the year to prepare for things to get a whole lot worse. §  Extreme Weather "The (Weather) Forecast Is Looking More And More Extreme" / Video §  Biblical Floods Begin 2011: Global Warming Is Real / Video  The following 2 ABC News reports both used the word ‘EXTREME’ when reporting on the Weather / Climate disasters being felt around the world in 2011. I find it interesting that the mainstream media is beginning to use the same terminology that I have been using on this blog since 2009, and many other alternative media sources have been using a long before that. The word ‘EXTREME’ was rarely, if ever heard on MSM but was used frequently by myself and others over and over in relation to changing weather patterns. The Lord Jesus did warn us of ‘fearful sights’, of mega earthquakes, of waves of the sea roaring, of signs in the heavens, and signs on earth that are almost all related to climate and weather. So are these signs not a confirmation that we are fast approaching the days of the ‘beginning of sorrows’? The most prominent among them were the Indonesian quake of 2004 that caused the most catastrophic tsunami in modern history, and the Haiti earthquake of 2010. I believe that it will not be long before we begin to hear of multiple magnitude 8+ earthquakes all across the globe. The Chile earthquake of 2010 measured 8.3, a magnitude unheard of in modern history. Jesus did prophesy there would be ‘Earthquakes’ in diverse places before the end of the world. I am sure He was not referring to minor quakes that occur all the time but powerful quakes that will cause catastrophic damage to the planet and result in loss of life in the hundreds of thousands, if not in greater numbers. Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. All these are the beginning of sorrows. §  Geo – Political Issues (War) & Internal Strife / Social Unrest Price Shocks, Food Shortages And Global Economic Riots In 2011? And then the catch 22 of rising food prices leading to reduced oil production, leading to even higher food prices will really get out of hand. China Moves Troops Into North Korea Terrence Aym Salem-News.com Jan-17-2011 20:01 / A South Korean official downplayed the report saying that it only permits China to come to North Korea's aid in the event of greater instability….Chinese troops have been deployed into North Korea. The Chinese now have a presence in the rogue state for the first time in more than 15 years….Since that time, Pyonyang has stridently announced that it will no longer abide by the agreement. During 2010 the North Korean government officially declared that it is once again in a state of war with South Korea and the U.S…. The History of India – Pakistan conflicts – a ‘Economic Times’ video report India and Pakistan both are nuclear powers and bitter enemies. Both these countries are bordered by China, also a nuclear power; nowhere else in the world do we have 3 nuclear powers bordering each other, and also home to nearly 3 billion people. Pakistan is an impoverished country, which is in dire straits due to massive flooding last year of its fertile food growing region. Inflation in India and China is causing massive internal social unrest due to food being priced out of reach for the poor majority in both countries. I reckon that it is only a matter of time before these 3 countries look to distract their populace from internal problems by focusing on an external enemy. It is near certainty that India and Pakistan will engage in a major war this decade; what roles China, The US and Russia will play in this conflict remains to be seen. Wars and rumors of wars are prophesied to precede the beginning of the end of the world. Current reports of  possible wars and civil unrest is only a preview of the much bigger and deadly wars that are yet in the future. Long before the major wars involving major world powers begin, there will be unprecedented social unrest, and even civil wars, brought on by the collapse of the Global Economy.  Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places. Matthew 24:12 And because iniquity (LAWLESSNESS)  shall abound, the love of many shall wax cold. ANOMALOUS EVENTS / These are events that are neither seen as a norm nor can they be explained as normal occurrence; an example would be the numerous instances of birds falling dead out of a clear blue sky by the hundreds and even by the thousands. These events of this category more than any of the above categories proves that the planet itself is experiencing severe trauma, and animals dying in mass numbers are a symptom of such trauma. What is causing the trauma is a matter of debate, what will not be debatable by the end of 2011 will be the fact that these events are anything but normal. Whatever the stated cause, the earth is being destroyed; God has assigned the cause for such destruction to man and will judge him accordingly. Pelicans turn up sick, dead off Jacksonville coast Founder of sanctuary treating the birds blames chemicals in the water. Posted: January 17, 2011 - 6:43pm / Hundreds of Eastern brown pelicans, some with missing wings and frostbite, have been injured or killed in the St. Johns River the past couple of weeks in the Mayport area. The exact reason is unknown but the cold weather could have caused hypothermia when the birds landed in the water. The pelicans have been losing a protective coating they have on their body to shield their feathers from becoming saturated by water. Cindy Mosling, co-founder of the Bird Emergency Aid and Kare Sanctuary on Big Talbot Island, thinks chemicals in the water could be the culprit. (Maybe the Gulf Oil disaster is the cause?) Dead Fish start washing up in Australia Investigations are underway into the cause of a fish kill in Jervis Bay. About 70 different species have been washed up on the shore line around Honeymoon Bay and Bindijine. Among the kill were groper, flathead, stingrays and sea horses. Samples of the dead fish have been taken away for testing. The incident has experts mystified, because many fish kills often effect only a few species, while on this occasion the deaths are across the board….I was driving down the coast and heard this interview on a little radio station where the guy had phoned in and tell the radio station about what he was looking at, literally hundreds of dead and dying fish, some still moving seemingly trying to get out of the water, the witness on the radio saying it's almost like they were trying to escape something or trying to get out of the water for oxygen. §  PANDEMIC NEWS Not too much new News in the area of Pandemic reporting but we keep a close eye on what has been going on for quite some time now. Britain flu deaths double / I include this story not for frivolous reasons but to take note that the H1N1 infection that was declared to a be a pandemic by The WHO has not been eradicated. Britain has seen a substantial outbreak  of this virus and scientists keep warning that it is only a matter of time that the virus mutates into something extremely infectious and fatal.
