Audio Updates from last week and a Must Read Article

Jan. 11, 2011 interview with host Vyzygoth on Think or be Eaten radio

On this program recorded on Jan. 11, 2011, the main topic of discussion was the definition of the word 'Christian'. The title of 'Christian' is applied all too loosely by people to describe their religious affiliations. However it is a sad fact that a vast majority of those who call themselves 'Christians', particularly in Western nations have nothing in common with the one from whom they get the name of 'Christian', namely The Lord Jesus Christ. It is not without reason that a great number of these people will not be allowed entry into the Kingdom of God.

  • Matthew 7:21 Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. 22 Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? 23 And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Jan. 12, 2011 interview with host George Ann Hughes on The Byte Show

The topic of this interview with host George Ann Hughes of The Byte Show is '2011 Predictions'.  With 2011 just over two weeks old, it is surprising even me how many of these predictions / expectations are already been experienced. There has been more active weather already this year than in the first half of 2010. Several anomalous events such as hundreds of birds falling dead for no apparent reason, millions of fish washing up dead in seas, lakes and rivers, are happening with a regularity never before known in the world. A food crisis of epic proportions is pointing to severe famines and food shortages. The H1N1 virus is still in the News, geopolitical tensions are on the rise, the question that naturally arises is, 'Is this the end of the World?' This show addresses this question and presents what we might expect to see in 2011.

Jan. 15, 2011 interview with host PastorAnn on TKSCM Last Days Radio

·         Joel 2:1 Blow ye the trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm in my holy mountain: let all the inhabitants of the land tremble: for the day of the LORD cometh, for it is nigh at hand; 2 A day of darkness and of gloominess, a day of clouds and of thick darkness, as the morning spread upon the mountains: a great people and a strong; there hath not been ever the like, neither shall be any more after it, even to the years of many generations.

In this program PastorAnn and I discuss the implications of rapidly changing economic, social, and climate conditions in the world today. The Day of The Lord is a time of the distress of nations and requires much prayer and intercession by God’s people. Any way you look at it, the process of the end of the world will be a traumatic, painful and even fatal one for billions of people on the planet. A poignant and heart wrenching account of what happens when conditions in a previously prosperous nation become severely adverse due to warfare, drought and famine, is found in the writings of the prophet Jeremiah. Such conditions as described in the Old Testament book of Jeremiah and Lamentations are soon to be duplicated across the planet. Therefore this is a time of weeping and mourning, of supplicating before the Living God on behalf of His People. It is not a time to point fingers or to self – righteously proclaim that ‘We told you so’, it is a time of fasting, weeping and mourning for humanity.

The picture below speaks loudly of what we can expect to see and are already seeing in many parts of the globe. This picture also speaks loud and clear of the cruel, selfish and utterly greedy nature of man; we live in a world where some folks spend more money watching a football game than these people do on food in a year. A 5% or less reduction in WAR budgets (falsely called Defense budgets) of all nations would comfortably feed, clothe and house every person in this world. But those to whom much has been given, have not shared nor have they cared for those who have not been blessed the same way. Impoverished billions daily suffer hell on Earth; they die a living death everyday of their short and painful lives. Therefore that half of the world that not only tolerates such inhumanity but callously ignores it will soon suffer the same hell that billions are already suffering. Judgment upon this world is all too justified, and it is only because of the patience and longsuffering of our Lord God that it has not befallen the world already. Those of us who have been watching and praying are firmly convinced that the time is now at hand for the uncountable debts that the world has accumulated since its foundation to be settled. Woe unto the world for they are yet blinded to the knowledge of Him, who has already settled all their debts by dying on the Cross for them. The Lord Jesus Christ has promised forgiveness of all sins and eternal life for all who believe – believe it or not, the choice is yours!

  • John 3:16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.

·       The following excellent article titled, ‘Doom and Gloom’ is a must read for what is really transpiring in our world, which is falling apart at the seams. Click on link to read: TheThe Silver Bear Cafe

Excerpt from above article:

"Quite a few people have accused this column of being obsessed with "doom and gloom", but the truth is that the world really is falling apart out there. What are we supposed to do? Are we all supposed to stick our heads in the sand and pretend that everything is going to be okay? Should we all not try to warn others so that they can prepare for what is coming? Until people understand that we are facing absolutely massive problems they are not going to be motivated to take significant action, and hopefully those of us that are proclaiming "doom and gloom" are doing a good enough job of describing what is really going on out there that some people are starting to wake up and actually make changes....
...Well, here we are in 2011 and the price of oil hasn't even reached $100 a barrel, and yet the food riots are already beginning.
Violent food riots are being reported in Tunisia, in Algeria, in Chile and in Mozambique. In Tunisia, the riots have been so intense that the President of Tunisia, Zine El Abidine Ben Ali, has been forced to step down and flee for his life.
Yes, that is how serious things are getting already.
Unfortunately, it looks like the global food situation is only going to get even worse."....

Just to recap my article from Dec. 28, 2010 titled ‘2011 Predictions’, this year we can expect to see a dramatic deterioration in global conditions in the areas listed below; it seems that these things were expected to come upon the world this year have wasted no time in arriving. If the first two weeks of this year are any indication, the second half of 2011 may indeed be far more cataclysmic than anything the world has experienced in the past thousand years.
Warning after warning after warning, and sign after sign after sign is being given to a sleeping world, in anyone watching? More importantly, is anyone praying?

  • Luke 21:22 For these be the days of vengeance, that all things which are written may be fulfilled.  23 But woe unto them that are with child, and to them that give suck, in those days! for there shall be great distress in the land, and wrath upon this people. 24 And they shall fall by the edge of the sword, and shall be led away captive into all nations: and Jerusalem shall be trodden down of the Gentiles, until the times of the Gentiles be fulfilled. 25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars; and upon the earth distress of nations, with perplexity; the sea and the waves roaring; 26 Men's hearts failing them for fear, and for looking after those things which are coming on the earth: for the powers of heaven shall be shaken.

Whether one believes in the Bible or not, the fact remains that everything that is happening in our world that will lead to the end of the world as we know it has been written down for us a long time ago. All one has to do is to compare current events to Biblical prophecies and judge the accuracy of these prophecies for themselves. If the prophecies are indeed accurate, is it then not logical to conclude that the author (God of the Bible, Jesus Christ) is indeed who he claims to be? Those who ignore the prophecies and the God who inspired the prophets will have no one else to blame for their destruction but themselves!
