2011 PREDICTIONS - UPDATED

Shortly after I posted this article, I came across these News Reports that confirm some of the predictions listed below:

As 2010 draws to a close, we are one year closer to the beginning of the end of the world. This article serves as a supplement to my continuing series of articles, Is this the End of the World? The predictions given below are not prophecies but rather reasoned probabilities of what to expect in 2011 in light of Biblical prophecy and current events.

BUZZWORD FOR 2011 – AUSTERITY

For those in power, on top of the food chain, ‘Austerity’ will have little effect, but for the majority in developed countries, ‘Austerity’ is nothing short of a dramatic change from a middle class lifestyle of flat screen TVs and iPads to an impoverished class status, not knowing where the next meal will come from. For the already impoverished in the third world, ‘Austerity’ will lead to mass starvation where tens and hundreds of millions will not even be left with the pennies that they need to buy subsistence level nourishment. The time of ‘sorrows’ for the world is fast drawing near; 2011 will serve to hasten this process leading to the beginning of the end of the world. The following predictions are supported by evidence from mainstream news reports and other sources. Days of evil and darkness, of gloominess of the soul and spirit will soon engulf the world, only those who foresee the evil will be prepared; the majority of fools who think that the world will go back to ‘normal’ are in for very unpleasant and deadly surprises.

Proverbs 22:3 (King James Version) A prudent man foreseeth the evil, and hideth himself: but the simple pass on, and are punished.

The World has become interlinked commercially as never before in history. Furthermore no nation in the world uses sound money such as gold and silver any longer; all nations are now on the paper (fiat) money standard with nothing of value to support their currencies. The debt based monetary system that has now taken root in every nation in the world. The system is based on usury and since the borrower is a slave to the lender, the whole world has become enslaved to the ‘System of Usury’. The Bible tells us that the ‘Love of money is the root of all evil’, and over the past 40 years, since 1971, the whole world has turned whole heartedly to a money system that is based on nothing tangible, and therefore the level of debt in the world has reached levels never seen before in history. As the supply of money has increased worldwide, so has the love of money grown exponentially, and the stench of evil has touched the heavens themselves as a consequence. The complex subject of money creation by governments is a must learn subject for every citizen but is not taught in schools and colleges. The following links provided good information on this subject and will help those who want to understand the real causes of the economic malaise that is spreading like an unstoppable contagion across the planet.

Is this the end of the world? Part 9B

The coming Phases of the ‘End of the World’

In the previous segment of this series, I made note of at least 7 distinct phases in which the End of the present world will come. The phases are listed below; the first 3 phases were defined in part 9A, the remaining 4 are defined in this segment.

THE 7 Phases of the soon coming ‘End of the World’

  1. The Opening of the 7 Seals
  2. The Blowing of the 7 Trumpets
  3. Between the 7 Trumpets and 7 Vials
  4. The pouring out of the 7 Vials of God’s wrath
  5. The Judgment of Mystery Babylon, the destruction of the system of Commerce
  6. The Psalm 2 war centered in the Valley of Megiddo (Armageddon) in Israel
  7. The Return of The King of kings, and The Lord of lords, Jesus Christ to Earth (The Second Coming)
I want to draw readers’ attention to the fact that the above phases are based on my understanding of the Book of Revelation, and other prophetic portions of The Bible. The divisions in these phases may not all be distinct but there may be some overlap between phases. There also will be significant stages within some of the phases, these stages will be made note of when I detail the events that are expected to happen during the course of each phase. Nonetheless it is indisputable that there will distinct phases in which the ‘End of the World’ will progress. This is the purpose of prophecy and the purpose for which signs have been given to us so that we can understand what is going to happen but also when it will happen. After providing brief definitions of all the phases, I will begin elaborating on each phase beginning with Phase 1 – The opening of the 7 Seals.

1.     PHASE 1: THE NATURAL PHASE / THE OPENING OF THE SEVEN SEALS (Revelation 6:1 – 8:1)

·        THE COSMIC / SUPERNATURAL PHASES

2.     THE BLOWING OF THE SEVEN TRUMPETS (Revelation 8:2 – 11:19

3.     BETWEEN THE 7 TRUMPETS AND THE 7 VIALS (Revelation 12:1 – 15:8) The Woman, The Manchild, The Dragon, The Beast and the False Prophet stage

Is this the end of the world? Part 9A

Summary of the phases of The End of the World – Part 1

The following is a summary of the current series to the end of part 8

  • The world is going to end – the exact term, ‘end of the world’ is used in the Bible in the following scripture. Matthew 24:3 And as he sat upon the mount of Olives, the disciples came unto him privately, saying, Tell us, when shall these things be? and what shall be the sign of thy coming, and of the end of the world?
  •
  • The meanings of the words, ‘WORLD’ and, ‘EARTH’ are not synonymous in the Bible. ‘World’ means ‘an Age of time’ as well as ‘The System’ that governs life upon the Earth in any given age. Though the Earth has existed for an unknown length of time, many worlds have come and gone on this very Earth. From a Biblical perspective the ‘end of the world’ would mean the end of the age as well as the end of ‘The System’. The current dominant ‘System’ on this planet is the system of commerce, of buying, selling and trading, in other words ‘The Economic System’, on which the attention of the whole world seems to be focused today. So the end of the world means the end of The Age in which this system has dominated the lives of almost all humanity on Earth, as well as the end of ‘The System’ itself. Since the end of the system will be catastrophic, it will be accompanied by catastrophic destruction of much of the planet as well.
  •
  • The end of the world will come in several phases, which I have listed below; some of these phases may last several years from beginning to end, and some may last only a few months. The time period from the beginning of the end to the time that all things will have been fulfilled will be no more than 40 years. According to Matthew 24:32-34, all these things’ must be fulfilled within the lifespan of one Biblical generation, which is 40 years. Three of the major phases may be divided according to the three groups of seven judgments, and events that constitute the pouring out of God’s wrath on mankind and this world. These three are named, The Seven Seals, The Seven Trumpets, and The Seven Vials. The various phases may not necessarily be of the same duration of time. And there will be pauses and divisions within the phases themselves, which will be identified in this series. All of the major and minor phases in which will the world (but not the planet) will come to an end are as follows:
THE NATURAL PHASE

1.       THE OPENING OF THE SEVEN SEALS (Revelation 6:1 – 8:1): The opening of the first four seals parallels Jesus’ description of the events of the end beginning with Warfare, Famine, Disease, and Earthquakes shattering the world and the planet (Matthew 24:7-8). Jesus called this time ‘The Beginning of Sorrows’, which obviously leads to the conclusion that following the beginning, there must be a middle, and an end. ‘The Beginning of Sorrows’ will result in a quarter or more of the human population perishing in a relatively short period of a few years, almost certainly less than ten. I have termed this stage ‘The Natural Phase’ because nothing previously unseen, except for the scale of destruction, will be experienced on Earth at this time. During the time of the opening of the 7 seals, destruction arises from human warfare, famines, diseases, and earthquakes. The destruction is catastrophic, and of an unprecedented scale, but what will transpire may be termed ‘Natural’, in the sense that wars, famines, diseases, and earthquakes have wrought much destruction and loss of life in this world in the past, so there is nothing new that happens during this phase except for the scale of the destruction and the magnitude of the loss of human life. Between the opening of the 6th and the 7th seals, we read an account of the sealing of the 144,000 as well as of a group of believers who are seen in Heaven, who lost their lives on Earth because of the Word of God, and the testimony that they held. This group is one of at least two groups of martyrs that we read about in the book of Revelation. The possibility of believers being afflicted and killed during this time is indeed scriptural; therefore in the book of Matthew as well as in the letters to the churches, our Lord admonished us repeatedly to be ‘faithful unto death’, more on the subject of laying down of our lives later in the series. The identity of the 144,000 is a subject of much controversy and will be discussed later in the series; readers are also encouraged to read a previous article I wrote on the topic some time back.
