Matthew 24:7 For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: and there shall be famines, and pestilences, and earthquakes, in divers places.
There were 20 civil wars ongoing worldwide since 2007. There have been 60 major conflicts between nations since the end of WW II. Despite all the rhetoric for peace that we hear coming from various leaders, the only constant in man's history has been war. With advances in technology the intensity of war increases constantly, so expect the next major one to be truly apocalyptic in scale. If the end of the world is truly near then we will have events other than war also overwhelm mankind at the same time, one of these events will be the rise in pestilences or in modern vernacular, pandemics, diseases on a worldwide scale. Though Swine flu has fallen off the front pages of newspapers and is no longer the lead story on the evening news it is nonetheless spreading farther and wider, or so we are being told. This story hints that the virus (what the heck is a virus anyway) is mutating, and the writer (mind-conditioner) of this story strongly hints that it will become deadlier and therefore we should be afraid, be very afraid!
Fear mongering is not the purpose of this writer but staying informed, and informing others is very much a purpose of this blog. Unlike SARS that came and went, this Swine flu seems to be here to stay, and it is possible that come autumn we may start seeing a repeat of the 1918 Swine flu pandemic and its deadly spread across the world, except on a much larger scale. Whether this is man-made or man spread is not important, what is important is to realize that this horseman of the apocalypse cannot be released upon Earth except as a judgment from God. Mankind has been so conditioned to thinking of good (God) as evil, and evil (the devil) as good that people find it strange that God would judge this world at all, and then on such a scale that we truly cannot fathom it with our minds. We dare not flaunt the laws of man for fear of judgment but we flaunt, without fear and shame, the laws of God and then find it strange that he would send judgment!
Revelation 16:9 And men were scorched with great heat, and blasphemed the name of God, which hath power over these plagues: and they repented not to give him glory.
Please realize now before it’s too late that God’s judgment is just and true, and if he deems it necessary to judge our world then the state of this world is far worse than you and I can imagine. After all God does have a bird’s eye view of the world that we down here do not have, He sees things that we truly do not even wish to see, all we can do is realize that He alone has power over these, and all plagues. If we begin today to clean our own house, our own minds and bodies, then no plague will have power over us. But we should see the signs, and realize that the very signs that Jesus gave us so that we could be prepared, be ready and watching for his return are now taking place right before our eyes. We should lift up our eyes for our redemption draws near, and we should pray and fast like never before in our lives. There is no other formula that I can offer you that will keep you safe in this world, or the next.
